Our projects are guided by Rotary’s commitment to service, fellowship, peace, and community development. The Rotary Club of Melbourne-Manila focuses on practical projects that connect people, build partnerships, and create lasting impact in both Australia and the Philippines.
Rotary Peace E-Cargo Vehicle
A mobile service unit of hope and action designed to support community education, feeding programs, health promotion, clean water access, Rotary public image, and disaster response in Manila.
School Crossing Supervisor Program
A child road-safety initiative connected with the Royce and Jean Abbey Vocational Scholarship pathway. This project aims to support safer school zones and develop trained local leaders for school crossing safety in Manila.
Youth and Education
Supporting young people through learning, leadership, mentoring, literacy, and school-
based initiatives.

opportunities to thrive socially, economically, and personally.
Health and Community Wellbeing
Promoting health awareness, hygiene, community care, and access to practical support.
Health promotion enables people to increase control and awareness over their own health. It covers a wide range of social and environmental interventions that are designed to benefit and protect individual people’s health and quality of life by addressing and preventing the root causes of ill health, not just focusing on treatment and cure.
Hygiene practices are essential for maintaining public health and preventing the spread of diseases; whilst , Community care encompasses a range of services designed to improve the quality of life for individuals by providing accessible healthcare, mental health support, and social services.
Disaster Response and Feeding Support
Providing flexible community support during emergencies, including food relief and mobile service activities.
Disaster response refers to the coordinated efforts to address the immediate impacts of a disaster, including natural events like floods, hurricanes, and wildfires, as well as human-made incidents such as industrial accidents or terrorist attacks. The primary objectives are to save lives, ensure health and safety, and provide essential services to affected communities. Key activities include warning and evacuation, search and rescue, emergency medical care, temporary shelter, food distribution, and initial infrastructure repair.
